Hi I am Greg the keyboard player for Itchycoo Park. A little musical history about myself. Did the normal thing as a kid of going to piano lessons with my mums prompting. I was brought up with the 60's era music as i had older brothers and sisters that played it all the time on their stereos. Learnt a bit of modern method piano playing in my young teens and let it drop when I discovered girls and motorbikes. Marriage and kids and mortgage kept my interests away from playing music but not from listening to it. Deep Purple have always been a band I adore and I so love the magic that Jon Lord plays on his Hammond B3.

Well to cut a long story short I started playing again when I was about 36 and believe me it was not good. Sort of pushed into it by a few un named people into a church music group that really made me stretch my lack of abilities. Was then I developed the interest more into the classic organ type sounds.

When approached by my brother Bernard to be a foundation member of Itchycoo Park I was excited, but also scared shitless as I would be playing not in front of a not as sympathic Audiance. Well I was so wrong to be worried as this journey is still as exciting but not as scarey as the first gig we performed.
