Most of the time I can be found sitting behind a computer doing boring computer stuff. By night I wake up and become the keyboard player in ITCHYCOO PARK. I was born in 1958 and missed the 60's era of music. Lucky for me I had older brothers and sisters that listened to that stuff and it sort of stuck in my mind. Bernard was a member of a couple of bands and they sometimes practiced in the garage at home.  This was really great for a kid in his pre-teens and used to hang around them all the time. I ended up thinking my name was "Go Away Greg".<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" >   </FONT>As a kid I had Piano lessons.  Not being a natural pianist I spent many hours on the piano with my Cup of Bournvita, torturing everyone else at home.  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>Gave up playing in my Teens, Got married etc etc etc. Few years ago my mum told some people at church that I played piano. Well ended up in a band that lasted for 8 years called Exaltae and did a professional recording and all.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>When Bernard asked if I would like to play keyboards in Itchycoo park I jumped at the chance. have always adored Hammond-style sound and always in awe of John Lord of Deep Purple.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>So now I get to play the music from the best era around.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>I am married to Sandra and you can find her many times at most of our gigs supporting us and letting us all know how the well the sound is balanced.  A keen ear that keeps us sounding good.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
